Capitalising on India’s burgeoning quick commerce industry, delivery giant Amazon India is planning to launch a service soon, codenamed ‘Tez.’
Reports say that the service may be operational by December 20 or January next year. Amazon was planning to launch the service in the first quarter of 2025, but decided to expedite it after the success of Blinkit, Zepto and Instamart.
Other notable players who have entered the quick comm space include Flipkart with its ‘Minutes’ service and Myntra, which launched ‘M-Now’ in some areas of Bengaluru.
