Apoorva Bapna, Chief Culture Officer at WPP, has decided to move on. Bapna joined the company in March 2020 and spearheaded cultural transformation initiatives across WPP, embedding values of openness, optimism, and collaboration. Her last working day will be on March 31.

During her stint there, she implemented successful DEI initiatives, achieving notable improvements in employee engagement metrics and launched WPP Stream, solidifying WPP's position as a thought leader in the industry.

Apoorva Bapna announced the news of her departure through a LinkedIn post. “Short of turning an adult, March 31st will be my last working day with WPP. When I joined GroupM back in 2007, I’d never imagined staying this long. I am grateful for the incredible journey I‘ve had with WPP and GroupM”, she stated in her LinkedIn post.

“Thank you to all my colleagues, bosses, partners and friends who have been part of this fulfilling journey through the years. I am taking a pause till I start my next chapter”, she added.

Apoorva Bapna is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience across journalism, media, advertising, policy, and development. She has built a distinguished career optimizing human capital to drive organizational success in service-driven industries. She specializes in aligning talent strategies with business goals, enhancing organizational culture, and fostering innovation to achieve sustainable growth.

Previously, she has worked with GroupM, The Times of India Group, among others.
