WPP Media has roped in Sumit Patil as Business Director. As per his LinkedIn profile, Sumit Patil took up the new role this month i.e. June 2026.
Based out of the agency's Mumbai office, Sumit Patil joins the company following a nearly five-year tenure at Zee Entertainment Enterprises where he last served as Senior Manager.
During this time, he led revenue maximization, pricing frameworks, channel strategy, and customized sales solutions across a robust portfolio of regional networks, including Zee Marathi, Zee Bangla, Zee Punjabi, and Zee Sarthak.
Prior to his role at Zee, Patil was associated with Omnicom Media Group for over 4 years and worked for brands across categories including FMCG, BFSI, lubricants and healthcare. He handled brands such as Skechers, Gala, Too Yumm, Bajaj Motors, Jyothy Labs, Adani Wilmar, SBI, LIC, HDFC, Gulf Oil, Cipla and Dr Batra.
