Vivek Paul and Govind Prasad Agarwal get new roles at LIC

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has made two senior level elevations where Vivek Paul has been elevated to Additional Director (Management Development Centre) and Govind Prasad Agarwal is now the Additional Executive Director (Marketing/Product Development). The duo will be based in Mumbai. The elevated roles have come into effect on April 9, 2025.

Prior to his current posting, Paul was working as Regional Manager (Pension & Group Schemes), Northern Zone, Delhi. He took charge as Additional Director (Management Development Centre) on April 09, 2025. Paul joined the Life Insurance Corporation of India in the year 1989 as an Assistant Administrative Officer. During his 36 years of service, his experience includes administrative functions and insurance marketing roles at various levels of offices of the Corporation. He has served in leadership roles as Branch in charge, Marketing Manager, Senior Divisional Manager (I/C) and in Pension & Group Insurance Units.

Govind Prasad Agarwal joined the Life Insurance Corporation of India as Assistant Administrative Officer in the year 1991. During the 34 years of service in the Corporation, Agarwal has experience of more than 16 years in Insurance marketing at various levels of the Corporation. His experience in other operational departments ranges from New Business, Claims, Policy Servicing, Pension & Group Schemes to Corporate Communications.

Agarwal led the Direct Marketing and Corporate Communications Departments in Western Zone and Central Zone respectively, as Regional Manager. He also headed Rajkot Division as Senior Divisional Manager In-Charge. Prior to current posting, he was working as Chief (Digital Marketing), Central Office, Mumbai.  He has taken charge as Additional Executive Director (Marketing/Product Development) on April 09, 2025.
