A significant development has emerged from Zee Media. According to reliable sources, Pankaj Srivastava, who serves as Vice President – IPs, Events & Special Projects, has resigned from the company.

Sources indicate that Srivastava submitted his resignation last month and has since been serving his notice period. July 1, 2026, will be his last working day at the organisation.

According to sources familiar with the matter, he is expected to begin a new professional assignment during the first week of July. Sources also indicate that Pankaj has been in serious discussions with Times Network. However, that may or may not materialise. Pankaj has multiple offers for senior leadership roles and may join one soon.

It is also learnt that Prasanna Raghav, who recently joined Zee Media after moving from TV9, is expected to take over Srivastava's responsibilities. An official announcement, however, is still awaited.

Srivastava joined Zee Media in November 2024 as Vice President – IPs, Events & Special Projects. In this role, he led the company's branded content initiatives and was responsible for developing and executing new intellectual properties (IPs) and special projects.

Prior to joining Zee Media, he spent more than two decades at Network18, where he played a key role in developing several marquee events, conclaves, and branded content solutions across television and digital platforms.

Zee Media has not issued an official statement on the development so far.
