Nidhi Vasandani resigns from TV9 Network

Senior TV journalist and well-known news anchor Nidhi Vasandani has resigned from TV9 Network. She had been serving as deputy editor of the network's Hindi news channel, TV9 Bharatvarsh, for nearly three and a half years. She is currently on notice.
Speaking to Samachar4media, Nidhi Vasandani confirmed her resignation. According to Nidhi, she is now entering the world of digital media and long-form podcasts. Her podcast will focus on growth, faith, and the life journeys of important people. Nidhi stated that she cannot reveal more details at this time but will provide a detailed update soon.
Nidhi Vasandani has over two decades of experience in media. She previously worked for the Hindi news channel Republic Bharat for approximately three and a half years. She has been associated with the channel since its inception.
Prior to Republic Bharat, Nidhi worked as an executive producer and news anchor at India News. However, her tenure there lasted only eight months.
Before joining India News, she was a familiar face at ABP News. She spent nearly four years with the news channel. Nidhi joined ABP News in 2014. She has covered everything from the 2014 FIFA World Cup to ABP News' popular show, "Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri." She also covered "Mumbai Live," a show covering news from Maharashtra and surrounding states. Nidhi produced and anchored these shows herself. During demonetization, Nidhi's work was repeatedly praised, as she produced several reports that highlighted the vision of a cashless India.
Prior to ABP News, Nidhi worked at Zee Business. During her tenure there, from April 2009 to March 2014, she served as producer and anchor. She has also contributed to other news channels of Zee Media, including Zee UP/Uttarakhand and Zee Sangam. Prior to this, she worked at Sahara Samay from May 2007 to April 2009. She also worked briefly with Raj News and Bhaskar TV in Bhopal.
Nidhi holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Economics and a double postgraduate degree (Mass Communication and Political Science). Nidhi is also a trained classical dancer, having graduated in Kathak. She has performed in several stage shows and also teaches dance to children. Since she hails from Bhopal, she has performed several times on Bhopal's Doordarshan.
Nidhi has also been honored by Shivraj Singh Chauhan as Bhopal's best classical dancer. In addition, Nidhi has been awarded numerous awards, including the National Award for Sindhi Talent in 2004.
