After over 16 years with Viacom18 as Revenue Head, Nupur Srivastava has joined SonyLIV, e4m has learnt from sources.
A seasoned leader in the media and entertainment industry, Nupur Srivastava brings a wealth of experience across various platforms, including broadcast, digital, print, radio, and new-age media.
During her tenure at Viacom18, Srivastava managed a diverse multi-genre portfolio, targeting niche audiences through popular brands such as MTV, Vh1, Comedy Central, Colors Infinity, Nickelodeon India, and Nick Jr.
From 2008 to 2019, she served as Senior Vice President and Revenue Head for Kids Entertainment. In August 2019, she was promoted to Senior Vice President and Revenue Head of Youth, Music, English, and Kids Entertainment, a role she held until her recent move to SonyLIV.
Before joining Viacom18, Srivastava was the Deputy Sales Manager (Group Head) at Sahara India TV Network from October 2005 to February 2008. Her earlier career includes positions at Hindustan Times as Sales Manager, Star India Pvt Ltd as Sales Senior Executive at Radio City, and various roles at Mid-Day Multimedia Ltd and Corn Products Company as a sales executive.
Srivastava’s extensive experience and proven track record in driving revenue growth will be invaluable to SonyLIV as it continues to expand its offerings in the competitive streaming landscape.
