Nitin Kumar Singh has joined IndusInd Bank as Product Head – Credit Cards, returning to the banking sector after five years in fintech, where he worked on credit card partnerships, co-brand programmes and distribution businesses.

Singh moves from Paytm, where he spent five-and-a-half years in the cards business, most recently as AVP-II. He led card acquisition, worked on new co-brand partnerships and focused on expanding distribution and revenue streams.

During his tenure at Paytm, Singh held multiple leadership positions, including AVP-I, General Manager and Deputy General Manager – Cards Business. His responsibilities included launching co-brand programmes, building issuer partnerships and developing digital acquisition initiatives and a credit card marketplace.

Before Paytm, Singh was part of the core team that launched the credit card business at IDFC FIRST Bank. He worked on customer value propositions, digital acquisition journeys, product financial planning, rewards and EMI offerings.

Earlier, he spent nearly five years at ICICI Bank in credit card product management and business roles, handling product launches, portfolio strategy, customer propositions and sales initiatives. He began his career at Tata Motors, managing the medium and heavy commercial vehicle business in central Maharashtra.

Announcing his move, Singh said he was looking forward to building IndusInd Bank’s credit card business, citing opportunities to expand the portfolio with a focus on quality and sustainable growth.
