Vamsi Murthy has joined Netflix as the new Senior Director, Head of Marketing for India. He confirmed this career development in a post on LinkedIn.
About joining the streaming giant, Murthy wrote: “Thrilled to share that I've joined Netflix to lead the Marketing charter in India. Looking forward to partnering with some of the best creative minds as we shape what's next. Here's to stories that connect, entertain, and inspire - the Netflix way.”
Murthy is a seasoned marketing leader with extensive experience in leadership roles across several major networks. Before joining Netflix, he served as Executive Director and Head of Marketing at JioStar for nearly four years. Earlier in his career, he held positions at BookMyShow, ZEE5, Myntra–Jabong, MakeMyTrip.com, Reliance Communications, among others.
