Nestlé India has announced the elevation of Varun Sethuraman as its new Head – Marketing Communications, effective January 1, 2026.
Currently serving as Business Executive Officer (BEO) – Cereals, Sethuraman has been with Nestlé India since 2011.
Over his 14-year career at Nestlé, Sethuraman has earned a reputation for strategic thinking, brand leadership, and consumer-centric innovation across multiple business verticals.
In 2021, Sethuraman was appointed Category Marketing Head for Maggi Noodles, where he led the rejuvenation of one of Nestlé’s most iconic brands. His leadership in innovation, communication, and consumer engagement helped strengthen category growth and brand equity.
In March 2024, he was elevated to BEO – Cereals, where he successfully navigated a competitive market landscape, driving both business growth and portfolio expansion.
As Head – Marketing Communications, Sethuraman will oversee brand strategy and integrated marketing efforts across Nestlé India’s diverse portfolio. His mandate will include strengthening the company’s brand narrative, driving cross-platform integration, and enhancing consumer engagement across traditional and digital channels.
