Valmik Desai has joined Anthropic in Investor Relations, based in San Francisco, California.
Desai joins Anthropic after a decade-long stint at Salesforce, where he most recently served as Vice President of Investor Relations from March to October 2026.
Prior to that, he was Senior Director of Investor Relations from February 2025 to March 2026 and Director of Investor Relations from August 2023 to January 2025.
During his tenure at Salesforce, Desai also held roles including Senior Manager, Manager and Senior Financial Analyst in Investor Relations. He began his career at the company in corporate accounting, working across commissions accounting and corporate accounting strategy and operations before moving into investor relations.
