Cars24 Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Mehul Agrawal has announced that he is stepping back from his operating role at the company after more than a decade of leadership.
In a LinkedIn post, Agrawal reflected on the company’s journey since its founding, which began with a small team working out of a petrol pump. Agrawal described the decision as emotional but timely, noting that the company has reached a position of strength, including reporting its first globally profitable quarter.
He will continue to be associated with Cars24 as a member of the board, supporting the company in a different capacity.
The development comes amid a series of leadership changes at Cars24. Co-founder Gajendra Jangid has also recently stepped back from his role, while Himanshu Ratnoo stepped down as Chief Executive Officer earlier this year.
