Maya Tata, the youngest child of Noel Tata, is reportedly preparing to assume responsibility for the e-commerce marketing division at Westside, the fashion and lifestyle retail brand owned by Trent.
Known for maintaining a private life, Maya has largely stayed out of the public eye despite belonging to one of India's most prominent business families. Her father, Noel Tata, serves as Chairman of Tata Trusts and also heads Trent.
Born in Mumbai in 1989, Maya pursued higher education at the University of Warwick in the UK before specialising in business management and finance in London.
As per reports, she started her professional journey with Tata Capital and later joined Tata Digital, where she was involved in initiatives related to online retail, digital growth and customer engagement. Following organisational changes at Tata Digital, she is believed to have evaluated roles across several Tata Group companies, including Trent and Tata Consumer Products.
