Laxmi Shetty has resigned from ZEE Entertainment Enterprises after a 21-year-long stint with the company.

Sources indicated that Shetty recently put in her papers after having spent over two decades across the network’s advertising and revenue ecosystem. Her exit comes less than a year after she was elevated as Head,  Advertisement Revenue, Broadcast & Digital following the departure of Ashish Sehgal.

Known internally as one of ZEEL’s longest-serving revenue leaders, Shetty played a key role in shaping the broadcaster’s monetisation strategy across television and digital. Over the years, she was closely associated with strategic sales planning, pricing models, advertiser partnerships and cross-platform revenue integration.

Before taking over the ad revenue vertical last year, Shetty had served as Chief Sales Strategy & Maximisation Officer at the network. She had also worked with Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. prior to joining ZEEL.
