Karan Bhatia has moved on from Sanofi and Opella and joined Asahi Group as Director-AGPS. The news has been shared by Bhatia in a LinkedIn update.
“Last week, I closed a professional chapter of 9 years with Sanofi & Opella. I'm grateful for my time in these two worldclass organizations.
Joining Sanofi in 2017 to manage marketing spends as a category to later carving out its consumer healthcare business to form Opella, getting the opportunity to build, scale and nurture GBS/GCCs teams in different parts of the world, working across cultures, strategies and transformation - it's been a journey of learning, growth and meeting fantastic people (not tagging anyone here but you know who you are,” he wrote in a post.
In the past, Bhatia had been associated with Godrej and UTV.
