Jerry Jimenez Bongco has been appointed as the new Country Director for Meta in the Philippines. The news was announced on LinkedIn by Benjamin Joe, Vice President, Southeast Asia and Emerging Markets at Meta.
Prior to this, Jerry Jimenez Bongco was with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as Country GM for the Philippines.
As Country Director, Jerry will spearhead Meta’s local team, craft and implement strategic business plans, and nurture key partnerships with businesses in the Philippines. His role involves identifying avenues for expansion, fostering collaboration, and making a positive impact within the community.
Taking to LinkedIn, Benjamin said, “Introducing Jerry Jimenez Bongco, Our New Country Director for the Philippines! Thrilled to announce Jerry's appointment as our new Country Director for the Philippines! With a stellar background in technology, telecom, cloud computing, and AI, Jerry is poised to lead our team into a new era of growth in this vibrant country”, he stated in his LinkedIn post.
