Times Network has been appointed Zakka Jacob as the Managing Editor – Times Now. The announcement has been made by the company in an internal communication.

“As Navika transitions into this larger role, we are pleased to welcome Zakka Jacob as Managing Editor – Times Now, taking over the day-to-day editorial leadership of the channel,” stated an internal communication in the company.
Zakka, formerly Managing Editor of CNN-News18, is a seasoned broadcast professional who has led a large and dynamic newsroom and shaped editorial strategy across platforms in the rapidly changing journalism environment of today. In a career spanning international and domestic assignments, he is a two-time recipient of the Asian Television Award for Best Anchor – the only Indian anchor to achieve this distinction twice.
All functions across Times Now TV – Input, Output, and Production will report into Zakka. He will be based out of the NOIDA office and will report to Ashish Sehgal, CEO – Times TV Network & CGO – Media & Entertainment.
