HarperCollins India expands Executive Publisher Poulomi Chatterjee’s role

- HarperCollins Publishers India has expanded the leadership role of Executive Publisher Poulomi Chatterjee to include oversight of its adult publishing imprints.
- The imprints under her new responsibilities include Fourth Estate, Perennial, HarperCollins, Harper Business, Harper Fiction, Harper Non-Fiction, Harper Faith, Harper Learning, and Harper Hindi.
- Chatterjee, who has over 20 years of experience in the Indian publishing industry, joined HarperCollins India four years ago and previously held significant roles at Hachette Book Publishing India, Penguin Random House India, and Macmillan Education India.
- The company aims to enhance its editorial vision and imprint identities under Chatterjee's leadership to drive growth in its trade publishing program.
HarperCollins Publishers India has expanded the leadership responsibilities of its Executive Publisher, Poulomi Chatterjee, who will now oversee the company's adult publishing imprints.
The expanded portfolio includes Fourth Estate, Perennial, HarperCollins, Harper Business, Harper Fiction, Harper Non-Fiction, Harper Faith, Harper Learning and Harper Hindi.
The publisher said, “Poulomi has played a pivotal role in shaping our publishing programme, working with authors and editorial teams to build a list that reflects the breadth, ambition and diversity of contemporary publishing. In her expanded role, she will work closely with our publishers and editors to further strengthen our editorial vision, deepen our imprint identities and drive the continued growth of our trade publishing programme.”
Chatterjee has more than two decades of experience in the Indian publishing industry, spanning editorial, content management, business development and publishing leadership.
Chatterjee joined HarperCollins Publishers India four years ago as Executive Publisher. Prior to that, she spent around 12 years at Hachette Book Publishing India, where she was appointed Publisher and Editor-in-Chief in 2014. Earlier in her career, she worked for more than seven years at Penguin Random House India and nearly three years at Macmillan Education India.
