Asianxt Digital Technologies (“Asianxt”) announced the appointment of Samarth Sharma as Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive the next phase of the company’s strategic growth and D2C transformation. In this role, Sharma will oversee company’s growth with a focus on content expansion, consumer facing products and tech-led platform innovation.
This is his second stint at Asianxt (earlier known as Asianet News Media & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.). In his earlier roles, he had led the group’s digital business for nearly five years, initially as Chief Business Officer and later as COO, helping grow the company’s digital portfolio and revenue base across platforms and markets.
Sharma’s past experience includes an entrepreneurial journey as co-founder of Sportskeeda and with MNCs like Deutsche Bank and Transunion-CIBIL. He brings a wealth of experience in digital content, social media and content creator ecosystems.
Speaking on his appointment, Samarth Sharma said:
