Dave Dugan has announced that he is joining OpenAI to lead its global advertising solutions team as Vice President – Head of Global Ads Solution.
Sharing the update in a LinkedIn post, Dugan described the move as an opportunity to help shape ‘a brand new model’ that could redefine the advertising industry. As per media reports, in his new role, Dugan will report to OpenAI’s Chief Operating Officer, Brad Lightcap.
Dugan joins OpenAI after a 12.5-year tenure at Meta, where he most recently served as Vice President, Global Clients and Agencies.
Earlier in his career, Dugan held roles at organisations including Arnold Worldwide, BzzAgent, Digitas and Capgemini.
