Danone’s Hisham Ezz El-Arab joins Mondelez International as President, Sub-Saharan Africa

Hisham Ezz El-Arab has joined Mondelez International as President, Sub-Saharan Africa. He shared the news of his new role through a LinkedIn post.

In this role, he will lead Mondelēz International’s business in Sub-Saharan Africa, a business with iconic brands such as Cadbury, OREO, Bournvita and Halls. Sub-Saharan Africa is one of the most dynamic and promising regions in the world.

“After 22 extraordinary years — across 20 countries and 3 continents — the time has come for me to say goodbye to Danone. With gratitude for the past and excitement for the future, I am delighted to share that I have joined Mondelēz International as President, Sub-Saharan Africa”, the LinkedIn post read.

He expressed delight and said he is very previleged to join the Mondelez family and support its mission to lead the future of snacking by empowering people to snack right.
