Astrotalk appoints Deepak Khetan as its first CFO ahead of IPO

The company plans to launching an IPO in the next two years

Astrotalk, an astrology platform, has appointed Deepak Khetan as its first-ever Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This newly created position comes at a pivotal moment as the company works towards its ambitious goal of launching an Initial Public Offering (IPO) within the next two years, stated a press release.

“As we are scaling and launching in new geographies, our finances have also started becoming more complex. We wanted a strong leader with good pedigree and experience who could handle our finances with airtight compliance,” said Puneet Gupta, Founder & CEO, Astrotalk. “While the IPO is a major milestone, it’s only one chapter in our story. Deepak’s guidance will help us chart the right course, not just to a successful public listing but to a future where our growth remains steady and strong. With him leading our finances, we’re confident and ready for whatever comes next.”

While his title says “finance”, Deepak’s role will be broader, from leading financial planning, risk management, compliance, and investor relations, to being a key voice in big business decisions. In the immediate future, he will design a strong financial structure to carry Astrotalk through the IPO process, and in the long run, guide strategic investments, international expansion, and sustained growth, according to the reelase.
