- Ajay Rampal has rejoined IFFCO Group as Chief Executive Officer of the Poultry Division, effective October 19, 2026, after over 30 years with the organization.
- He previously served as CEO of IFFCO Poultry-Agri Division from January 2005 to March 2025, overseeing significant poultry projects and expansions in the Middle East.
- Rampal's past roles include leadership positions in IFFCO's Animal Feed, Grain Products, and Fruits Divisions, as well as experience in sales management at Abbar & Zainy.
- In his new role, he aims to leverage his extensive experience in layer and broiler projects, commercial strategy, and business development to contribute to the poultry industry's growth and sustainability.
Ajay Rampal has rejoined IFFCO Group as Chief Executive Officer – Poultry Division, effective October 19, 2026. Based in the UAE, Rampal returns to the organisation after a long association spanning more than three decades.
Announcing his return, Rampal said it was a privilege to rejoin an organisation that had been an important part of his professional journey. He added that he looked forward to reconnecting with colleagues and industry partners, working with teams and contributing to the continued growth and long-term sustainability of the poultry industry.
Rampal previously served as CEO of IFFCO Poultry-Agri Division from January 2005 to March 2025. During his tenure, he was associated with several poultry projects and business expansions across the Middle East, including the establishment of Emirates Poultry Farm in 2004, the acquisition of Al Khazna Poultry Farms in 2008, and the formation of the Atyab IFFCO joint venture in Oman in 2009.
His experience also includes leadership roles across IFFCO’s animal feed, grain products and fruits businesses. He served as CEO of the Animal Feed Division from January 2000 to December 2011, Export Manager at Emirates Grain Products Co from January 1996 to December 1999, and General Manager – Fruits Division in Saudi Arabia from January 1991 to December 1995. Earlier, he was General Manager – Sales at Abbar & Zainy from 1984 to 1990.
In his new role, Rampal brings experience across layer and broiler projects, commercial and marketing strategy, business development and investment opportunities.
