Hindustan Unilever’s Out-of-Home media duties are up for grabs and the industry grapevine suggests that WPP's OOH agency Kinetic seems to be the frontrunner. Other agencies in the race include Publicis, IPG and GroupM.

Sources have also hinted that the HUL OOH account is estimated to be worth Rs 150-200 crore.

Rapport, the OOH division of Interpublic Group (IPG), is the current agency for the conglomerate and has been managing the OOH media business for HUL in India since a while now.

In 2011, HUL chose to hand over its OOH advertising to Lintas Media Group. Until then, Unilever’s OOH duties were jointly handled by Kinetic’s Portland and LMG’s Aaren Initiative, where the larger chunk was handled by Kinetic.

In the past, Kinetic has collaborated with various prominent brands like Blinkit, Pantaloons, Tata Cliq and Netflix.
