AAI tender call for ad rights at Surat and Nagpur airports
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited bids under the ‘two-packet’ system offering exclusive display ad rights at the civil aerodrome at Surat and putting up hoardings outside the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur.
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited bids under the ‘two-packet’ system offering exclusive display ad rights at the civil aerodrome at Surat. The contract will be awarded for a period of three years to display ads on glow signs and hoardings. The total advertisement area being offered is more than 1,000 sq. ft. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required is Rs 93,000, while the minimum reserve license fee per month is Rs 77,500.
Interested parties should have a minimum experience of two years in the advertisement display business at transportation centres like airports, seaports, railways, bus terminals, etc.
Applicants will be required to submit the EMD through a demand draft or pay order from any nationalised or scheduled bank. The demand draft or pay order should be drawn in favour of AAI, payable at Surat.
Tender documents indicating full details of the license can be obtained on payment of Rs 500 from the office of the Airport Controller, Airports Authority of India, Civil Aerodrome, Surat, on any working day till August 31, 2010. Completed tender documents need to be submitted by 3 pm on September 9, 2010. The technical bids will be opened on the same day at 3.30 pm.
Meanwhile, AAI has also invited bids under the ‘two packet’ system offering ad rights through hoardings outside the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur. The total advertisement space being offered is approximately 1,600 sq. ft. The contract will be awarded for a period of five years and will attract a minimum reserved license fee of Rs 7,500 per month. The EMD required for this tender is Rs 10,000.
The ad rights are being offered for two locations – Wardha Road (near Pawan Bhumi, Somalwada), and Hingna Road T-point, opposite Raisoni Vidhyaniketan. The ad space being allotted at each location is 800 sq. ft.
Applicants need to have minimum experience of two years in the ad display business at transportation centres, such as airports, seaports, railways, and bus terminals. All participating firms should have a minimum annual turnover of Rs 5 lakh.
The EMD will have to be submitted in the form of a demand draft or pay order drawn in favour of the Airport Director, Airports Authority of India, payable at Nagpur.
The tender documents can be procured on any working day between August 23 and August 30, between 10 am and 4 pm from the office of the Airport Director, AAI, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur - 440005. The document cost of Rs 285 can be paid through a demand draft drawn in favour of AAI, payable at Nagpur.
Completed tender document need to be submitted latest by 3.30 pm on September 6, 2010.
