UTV Action in ‘Warriors’ mode
A year and a half after its launch, UTV Action has gone for re-branding. The channel now sports a new logo and tagline: ‘Home of the Warriors’.
UTV Action, the action channel from UTV’s stable, has unveiled its new avatar from December 1, 2011. The refreshed logo and new tagline of the channel are in line with the brand philosophy – which is the ultimate destination for the best of Hollywood action movies.

The new look of the channel has been designed by Plenty, an Argentina-based agency, keeping in mind the fast-paced content and edgy image of the channel.
When launched in 2010, UTV Action identified a need gap in the market and created its own branded space – Hollywood in Hindi. After a year and a half, the channel has established itself in the action genre. Keeping this in mind, the channel’s new tagline focuses on the action heroes who in an avatar or as their original self redefine action across movies. The all new UTV Action brings together these iconic heroes making it - Home of the Warriors.
The new on air concept involves fast-paced graphics that give an extra edge to the channel. The new look of UTV Action will have distinct elements catering to the action, horror and sci-fi genre with key properties like Saturday Power Premiere, Big Bang Movie and others redesigned to give audiences the opportunity to consume the best of action in true Hollywood style.
