STAR Network reshuffles top ad sales management
Kevin Vaz will now be Biz Head of English channels & Jalsha. Amit Chopra will take over Vaz’s role of Network Sales Head for the entire STAR Network

Kevin Vaz, who has been responsible for revenue generation for the entire bouquet of Hindi, English and Niche genres under the STAR umbrella as Network Sales Head, will now be Business Head of English channels and Jalsha. Vaz had joined STAR India as a Sales Executive in 1996 after a brief stint of three years with The Times of India.
Amit Chopra will take over Vaz’s role of Network Sales Head for the entire STAR Network. Chopra had joined STAR in December 2012 to steer the Network’s sports strategy. Prior to that, he was CEO at Hindustan Media Ventures.
The concerned officials at STAR could not be reached for comments despite repeated attempts at the time of filing the report.
