Journalist Shadma Shaikh has announced that she has joined Channel News Asia (CNA) as South Asia Correspondent.
Shaikh will continue to be based in Bengaluru, where CNA is setting up its first India bureau.
In a LinkedIn post, Shaikh noted that much of her career has focused on technology reporting.
She writes, “Therefore, I thrilled with this opportunity to report on India at a moment when the countries's choices on AI, digital infrastructure, manufacturing, climate, healthcare and geopolitics are shaping conversations across Asia and the world.”
Shaikh is also the Co-Founder of the social impact newsroom FactorDaily.
