Insight Media City to launch Malayalam news channel

Insight Media City, the owner of Malayalam GEC channel Flowers, will launch a Malayalam news channel called ‘Twenty Four’. The channel will telecast on August 4, 2018.

Twenty Four will be backed with high end technology and would include setting up of a well-equipped studio, high-end cameras and other equipment in Cochin and Trivandrum. The team is working on the launch of the channel in Trivandrum, Cochin, and Delhi.

Founded in 2013 by a group of investors, Insight Media City aims to put up a media city in Kochi. Renowned television figure and Managing Director of Insight Media City, R Sreekandan Nair said on Facebook live, “Twenty Four news channel will be providing the audience with truthful account of happenings.”

Flowers TV, the Malayalam GEC channel from Insight media was launched in 2015. Within a span of three years the channel has been ranked in Top 5 GEC Channels list in the Malayalam GEC category consecutively by BARC India. Flowers TV has gained popularity among the Malayalee audience with programs like family comedy drama Uppum Mulakum, comedy reality show Comedy Uthsavam.
