Independent journalist Ravi Subbaiah passes away

Subbaiah was a Navi Mumbai-based journalist who overcame his physical disabilities to set up a Cable TV information service – NMTV

A Navi Mumbai-based independent journalist Ravi Subbaiah breathed his last at his Vashi residence on Sunday, as per media reports. He was 51.

Despite being Polio-afflicted, Subbaiah completed his graduation and set up a Cable TV information service – NMTV.

He was also associated with several NGOs and gave motivational speeches.

Subbaiah is survived by his wife and two daughters.
