Times Now, today, announced, what it calls, the next level of news-viewing starting today. Branded as 'Times Now Next Level’, the channel says it will revolutionize the news-viewing experience by launching features that will make the channel immersive, innovative and interactive.
"We are very happy with Times Now's overall performance. Times Now Next Level is an introduction to technical innovations. We are updating our viewing experience with the best of our ability. The channel had become text heavy. We want to bring the focus back on visuals," said MK Anand, MD & CEO of Times Network.
New features include a 3D VR newsroom with 3D technology that will allow news viewing through Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), virtual studio and a 360 degree view ability to audience,
Audience can now get more involved in debates by using invol.in that allows live questions and polls for events and conferences. Viewers can also tweet to Times Now and get a sentiment analysis of all conversations as well as share their videos to the channels and see them go live.
Another new features is Snapwrap, which acts as a shortcut to all the action. In a picture-in-picture format, audiences can keep an eye on the biggest news stories all through the day at the bottom of the screen.

Times Network has also launched Times Now HD. Anand told us that it's a soft launch. "It's different product by content. It is a parallel separate feed that audience can determine certain changes," he added.
