BARC Week 29: Sony Ten 3 grabs leadership position across the sports genre

In week 29 of the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India data, match 2 of the ODI series between India and England, has registered 12.7 million impressions (L/T Royal London -18), while the third ODI garnered 13.4 million impressions.

The ODI series has been telecast on Sony Ten 3, Sony Ten 3 HD, Sony Six, Sony Six HD and DD Sports.

In week 29, Sony Ten 3 garnered the leadership position across the sports genre with 229 million impressions, followed by Sony Six on the second slot with 130 million impressions and DD Sports on third with 119 million impressions. Sony Ten 1 and Star Sports bagged the fourth and fifth spots with 108 million impressions and 58.7 million impressions respectively.

In the top five programmes list, FIFA World Cup 2018 match between France and Croatia on Sony Ten bagged the first spot with 5.7 million impressions, followed by the third ODI between England and India on Sony Ten 3 which registered 5.3 million impressions. Match 2 on the same channel bagged 5.1 million impressions and FIFA World Cup 2018 between France and Croatia grabbed the fourth spot on Sony ESPN with 4.2 million impressions. The same match of FIFA World Cup on Sony Ten 3 stood at number five with 4.0 million impressions.
