Mumbai based journalist and former editor of BBC Good Food India, Sona Bahadur, is set to release her debut book, An Invitation to Feast, in early June 2025. 

Published by Aleph Book Company, the book is described as part memoir, part travelogue, and part cookbook. It delves into the stories of Indian cuisine through eleven beloved dishes, drawing from Bahadur's six-year journey across the country. During her travels, she engaged with home cooks, renowned chefs, street food vendors, restaurateurs, bloggers, farmers, and producers to capture the essence of India's diverse culinary landscape.(
