RetailME re-launched as 'Images Retail ME'
‘RetailME’ has been re-launched in October 2010, and has been rebranded as ‘Images Retail ME’. This first issue of Images RetailME was published in September 2010, and was distributed through various distribution channels. The magazine was originally launched in July 2004.

The magazine was originally launched in July 2004. exchange4media spoke to Lawrence Pinto, Managing Editor, Images RetailME to know more about the magazine and its future plans.
The magazine largely focuses on the Middle East market. According to Pinto, “Images RetailME’ is the only B2B (business to business) magazine in the Middle East dedicated to the retail sector. There are no other publications of this nature anywhere in the region. For more than six years, the magazine has created a niche for itself. Being the only title of its kind in the region people in the retail industry and those associated with it look out for it, as it is the only consolidated source of information for them to arrive at crucial decisions.”
The magazine is priced at UAE Dirhams 50 and equivalent in other currencies. The magazine attempts to provide in-depth editorial coverage on all aspects of retail, including retail formats, merchandising, design, shop-fit, category management, logistics, technology, real estate, consumer trends, franchising and human resource. Plus, the readers are kept up-to-date with important directions and trends in this ever growing industry. The ad-edit ratio of the magazine is proposed at 25:75 per cent respectively.
Speaking about the distribution and marketing plans of the magazine, Pinto said “The magazine is distributed through Dubai-based Alnisr Distribution, whose parent company publishes one of the leading English language dailies – The Gulf News. The magazine is represented at many regional and international events and forums, where it is invited to be a media partner. The October edition was distributed at India Retail Forum 2010 (September 28-29) in Mumbai; Retail City (Oct 4-6) in Dubai; Who’s Next & Premiere Classe (Oct 19-21) in Dubai and World Retail Congress (Oct 25-27) in Berlin. The November edition will be distributed at In-Retail exhibition in Dubai (Nov 8-11); MAPIC 2010 in Cannes, France (Nov 17-19) and GCC Retail Summit Abu Dhabi (Nov 22-24).”
