Outlook Hindi all set for editorial revamp

After taking over the command of Hindi Outlook magazine, senior journalist Alok Mehta plans to revamp the publication with fresh editorial mix to attract more readership.

Commenting on the planned changes, Mehta said, “Our main focus is how the magazine can be made useful for the entire family. We are committed to engage every generation of readers. Some interesting, informational content will be made available to the readers through new columns such as satire, gadgets, and cinema.”

Mehta added that there is always place for good content in the market. Highlighting the importance of Digital presence for publications in today’s times, Mehta commented, “Digital version is also very important. Keeping this in mind, not only the magazine but the Hindi Outlook website will also be re launched. Integration is the need of the hour and under these circumstances print and digital will have to work together as a whole.”

Expressing his reservations about objectionable content that appears on the websites, Mehta added, “The editors should understand the meaning of freedom of expression and the content should be such that it can be read with the family.”
