Hindustan’s campaign brings rail connectivity to Bulandshahr
The objective of the campaign was to emphasise the need for rail connectivity in Bulandshahr, besides consolidating Hindustan’s presence in the city
In order to make a consumer connect with the readers of Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, Hindi newspaper Hindustan recently ran a campaign ‘Hindustan Aapke Dwar’.
The objective was to emphasise the need for rail connectivity in Bulandshahr through the campaign. The campaign urged the local MLA to bring the issue to the attention of the Rail Ministry. As a result of which, in the recent Rail Budget 2013-14, the Ministry of Railways has earmarked Rs 59 crore for a new rail line from Bulandshahr to Chola. This project gains momentum from April 1, 2013 when the land acquisition process begins.
Local residents have thanked Hindustan for its efforts by putting up hoardings, congratulating the newspaper, all around town.
