Netflix has said it will be laying off nearly 6% of employees.
This will be affecting the jobs of 1,000 workers, media networks have reported.
The layoffs will be mainly in teams associated with product, tech, legal and HR.
Reports quoted Co-CEOS Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters as saying that: “Our mission - to entertain the world - is ambitious, and delivering on it requires us to be disciplined about where we prioritize our people and resources.”
