Charulata Patel, 87, who became an internet sensation after being spotted by cameras cheering passionately for Team India in the ICC World Cup match against Bangladesh, earlier this week, is now PepsiCo's face for its special World Cup 2019 'Swag' ad campaign.

Videos of the octogenarian blowing the vuvuzela during India-Bangladesh match went viral on social media and Patel further came into the limelight after Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli posted photographs with her on his Twitter account.

Cashing in on her popularity and enthusiasm for the game, PepsiCo India collaborated with Patel on the campaign.

"Pepsi is honoured to bring the story of the unassailable swag of Charulata Patel," a PepsiCo spokesperson was reportedly quoted as saying. "Her passion for the game shows the world that age is no bar when it comes to living life in the moment."
