EEMA Future Ready Series

The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) will be hosting its next Future Ready Series on event and experiential marketing.

This thought leadership panel will be streamed LIVE on Zoom, and on the official Facebook pages of EEMA and from 2.30 PM onwards. 

The topic of discussion is: 'How would event marketing and experiential spends shape up in the post COVID world?'

The speakers for this panel include Sanjoy Roy, President EEMA and MD Teamwork Arts, Sandeep Aggarwal, Founder & CEO, Droom, Sanjiv Bajaj, MD, Bajaj Capital, Dr Annurag Batra, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, BW Businessworld and exchange4media Group, Dinesh Agarwal, Joint MD, Panasonic and Noor Fathima Warsia, Group Editor, A&M, BW Businessworld.

As we know the COVID-19 induced lockdown and social distancing have impacted the events and experiential industry in a big way. 

The social distancing has made large gatherings impossible. Events are moving to clouds (digital), tech-enabled experiences seem to be becoming the new norm.

In this context, the panellists  will be discussing

  2. Will brands rethink experiential spends?
  3. How can experiential gain the trust of brands in the new zero-touch world?

The session would be moderated by popular emcee Sanchalli Arora.

The main leverage point of the Experiential Marketing Industry was to interact with consumers inciting a connection with the brand whilst giving them a feel and touch of the product or service. With the lockdown this has been restricted. However, this period of lockdown has become a Bootcamp for the Industry to recoup and calibrate the experiential industry as a whole.

The second virtual session will shed light on the topic: How Experiential will shape up in this Zero-Touch World & Future of Virtual Events. Sharing insights on this topic will be Roshan Abbas, Co-Founder-Kommune, MD-Geometry Encompass, and Brian Tellis, Co-Founder & Group CEO, Fountainhead, MKTG.
