Bishwajeet Samal, Head of Marketing and PR at Volkswagen India, has received the Tech Forward CMO Award at the Laqshya Pitch Best CMO Awards 2026 on Thursday.
Samal has more than two decades of experience in brand building and integrated marketing strategy. At Volkswagen India, he has focused on leveraging digital innovation, data and modern media platforms to strengthen the brand’s premium positioning in the Indian automotive market.
His work combines strategic storytelling with technology-enabled engagement to connect with new-age consumers.
Accepting the honour, Samal said, “I have the great honour and privilege of receiving this award on behalf of my team. I would also like to thank our agency partners and our technology partners such as Google and Meta who support us in our work.”
