Recognising his contribution to building stronger brand engagement in the financial services space, Jaswinder Singh Sodhi, Chief Marketing Officer, Wealth & Personal Banking at HSBC India, was honoured with The CMO Growth Award at the Laqshya Pitch Best CMO Awards 2026.
“It’s been a great journey, and this year I feel especially honoured as the award is for the growth category. I’m proud to represent HSBC, a brand that has been present in India for 170 years. We have come a long way, from the famous aerobridges we used to have to what we now call the concert economy," Sodhi said during his acceptance speech.
He added, “We are happy to say that the next phase of growth is ahead of us, with the bank getting licences to open in 20 new cities in India, two of them in Maharashtra — Nagpur and Nasik. In fact, we are already present with five or six branches, but Nagpur will be opening on April 18.”
With extensive experience across banking and financial services marketing, Sodhi has been instrumental in shaping the marketing strategy for HSBC’s Wealth and Personal Banking business in India. His focus has been on strengthening brand differentiation while deepening relationships with customers in an increasingly digital-first environment.
At HSBC India, Sodhi has led several integrated campaigns that combine data-driven insights, digital innovation and customer-centric storytelling to enhance brand visibility and drive engagement across the bank’s retail and wealth offerings.
