Pragya Bijalwan, Chief Marketing Officer at Voltas, emphasised the growing centrality of data in modern marketing while accepting the CMO Data-Driven Marketing Award at the Laqshya Pitch Best CMO Awards 2026.

Thanking her team at Voltas, Bijalwan described the recognition as a shared achievement and highlighted how legacy brands in the air-conditioning category are increasingly relying on data to drive business outcomes.

Referring to fellow award winner Girish Hingorani of Blue Star, she noted that both organisations operate in the same product category and were being recognised under the same award segment.

“Here’s to another legacy brand driving data,” she said, underscoring how established companies are adopting data-led approaches to remain competitive.

Bijalwan added that in today’s marketing landscape, decision-making increasingly relies on data-backed insights. “In God we all believe. For everything else, there has to be data,” she remarked.

She concluded by thanking the organisers and her team for their support.
