At the Laqshya Pitch Best CMO Awards 2026, Abhishek Kumar Srivastava, Vice President – Marketing at Piramal Consumer Healthcare, was honoured with The CMO Growth Award, recognising his contribution to driving brand growth and strategic marketing initiatives in the consumer healthcare space.

“I’m really humbled to receive this award in front of such iconic CMOs of India. This is a first for me, and it’s truly a big honour,” Kumar said during his acceptance speech at the Laqshya Pitch Best CMO Awards 2026.

“All my life I’ve been selling, or rather marketing, chocolate. I was with Hershey’s and before that with Nestlé, selling KitKat in India. A couple of years ago, I moved to a non-food segment. What you saw is something that has happened over the last few years, a transition from food and beverages to non-food segments like baby care, beauty, and intimate health and wellness. I really want to give credit to my team, who helped me transition into this role, helped me settle in, and did some remarkable work over the last couple of years,” added Kumar.

With close to two decades of experience across FMCG and consumer healthcare marketing, Kumar has built a reputation for steering brand transformation through consumer insight–led strategies and integrated marketing approaches. At Piramal Consumer Healthcare, he leads marketing for a portfolio of well-known brands including Lacto Calamine, Littles and i-pill, working to strengthen their relevance in an increasingly competitive self-care and wellness market.

Over the years, Kumar has played a key role in shaping brand narratives, expanding category presence and driving innovation-led campaigns aimed at connecting with evolving consumer needs in the healthcare and personal care segments.

Prior to this, Kumar has worked on some Iconic brands like HERSHEY’S, KISSES, REESE’S & KIT KAT at Emerging & Developed markets across Asia while he was at Nestle & Hershey’s.
