The exchange4media Group, a pioneer in the business of media, marketing, and advertising news and developments, is gearing up for their flagship event – the exchange4media Conclave. The 16th edition of the event is scheduled to take place on November 16 in Mumbai and will follow the theme of ‘Marketer and Machine: How will AI transform marketing?’

From industry leaders such as Sir Martin Sorrell to Tim Andree, CEO, Dentsu Inc, to MD & CEOs of Hindustan Unilever, Godrej and the likes, have been attending the exchange4media Conclave. The exchange4media Conclave is attended by more than 400 senior decision makers of the media and advertising industry, who widely benefit from the thoughts and perspective shared by our esteemed speakers.

This year, some of our key speakers include Tamara Ingram, Chief Executive Officer of J. Walter Thompson Company, who will be the headline speaker at the event, speaking on the topic ‘Artificial intelligence and Art’. We associate creativity with what it means to be human, but with digital technology now enabling machines to learn, recognise and respond to humans - from digital assistants to driverless cars - an inevitable question follows: Can machines be creative? And will artificial intelligence ever be able to make art?

Ingram heads the agency’s global network of 12,000 employees, across 200 offices and 90 countries. Previously, she was Chief Client Team Officer at WPP where she led 45 global account teams, representing one-third of the Group’s $20 billion in annual revenues.

Ingram’s extensive advertising agency experience includes roles such as Grey UK’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Global Leader on their P&G account, and at WPP’s wholly owned data investment division, Kantar. Prior to joining the WPP family, Ingram was Chief Executive Officer of McCann Worldgroup in London and Chief Executive Officer of the Saatchi & Saatchi London office.

Ingram is an active participant in advertising industry organisations, serving on the Boards of the Ad Council and Effie Worldwide, and as a member of the Marketing Group of Great Britain, Women in Advertising and Communications London, 4A's, and Advertising Women of New York. She believes deeply in giving her time and resources to charity and is a Trustee of Save the Children and the Royal Drawing School in London. In 2011, she was awarded an OBE by Queen Elizabeth II for services to tourism through her work as Chairman of Visit London.

Joining Ingram will be our next key speaker for the event, Ashutosh Srivastava, Chairman & CEO, AMEA, Russia, and CIS, Mindshare. He was previously CEO of GroupM South Asia and a board director. He helped set up Mindshare India in 2001 and has been in the communications business since he completed his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, Asia's leading business school.

Based in Singapore, Srivastava is involved with the new developments in the entertainment and media sector, in data analytics, and new media technology, with focus on mobile and wearables – looking at their impact on consumers, on agency business strategy, on brand marketing and in new media agency products and services. He is the current chairman of APAC board of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) – and has done keynote addresses at various MMA conferences, championing the adoption of mobile devices, connected devices, and the Internet of Things.
