BlackBerry launches Z3 smartphone in India priced at Rs 15,990

BlackBerry has introduced the new Z3 smartphone in India for Rs 15,990. It is available for 14,990 which is a pre-booking price. The new all-touch 5” display phone has the BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.2.1. Pre-booking of this phone can be done on The MobileStore and Flipkart from 25th June to July 2nd.
BlackBerry Maps have been launched for the first time for BlackBerry users in India with this phone. This app provides two-dimensional (2D) maps, application provides local search and voice guided turn-by-turn directions - just like GPS navigation system.
This phone was first launched in Indonesia. Other features include a dual-core, 1.2GHz CPU from Qualcomm, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB onboard storage, expandable memory up to 32GB as well as connectivity options like NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0.
BlackBerry's Z3 has a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera and 1.1-megapixel front-camera. The smartphone also has 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

BlackBerry users would be soon getting the option to access around 240,000 android applications from the Amazon's application store to their BlackBerry 10 devices.
This is first BlackBerry phone that has been manufactured by Foxconn. The phone also is compatible with the android applications
WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook & Youtube
