BARC Week 5: Lalitha Jewellery Leads Top 10 Brands.
Amazon, which topped the list the previous week, didn't make it to Week 5, while Hindustan Lever continued to dominate Top 10 Advertisers.
Lalitha Jewellery climbed up to dominate the Top 10 Brands for the fifth week of 2018 (January 27- February 2) with 20,166 insertions. Even Videocon D2H showed some improvement and moved up to the second spot with 12,655 insertions. Kalyan Jewellers retained its third spot with 10,652 insertions.
Airtel TV App, Trivago and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare also climbed up to the fourth, fifth and sixth spot with 10,288, 8634 and 8277 insertions respectively. Cadbury's Dairy Milk Silk, Santoor's Sandal and Turmeric and Roop Mantra's Ayur Face Cream forayed into the category in the seventh, eighth and tenth spot with 7942, 7564 and 6929 insertions respectively. Vodafone Super Net 4G held over to its ninth spot with 7336 insertions. Amazon which topped the list previous week was nowhere in sight.
In the Top 10 Advertisers list, FMCG brand Hindustan Lever and Reckitt Benckiser India continued to retain the top two spots with 1,02,166 and 40,856 insertions respectively.
Cadbury India and Patanjali Ayurved climbed up to the third and fifth spot with 28,684 and 25,626 insertions respectively. Meanwhile, Procter & Gamble slipped to the fourth position with 28,352 insertions.
Brooke Bond Lipton India and Lalitha Jewellery moved up to the sixth and seventh spot with 21,916 and 20,166 insertions respectively, while ITC Ltd. was displaced to the eighth spot with 17,134 insertions. Colgate Palmolive India and SBS Biotech entered the category at the ninth and tenth spot after a brief hiatus with 15,913 and 15,383 insertions respectively.
