Mr. Kiran Karnik, former managing director of Discovery Communications, resigned from the board of the Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) yesterday. Mr. Karnik was the vice president of the IBF. Following his resignation, the IBF is on a lookout for a suitable candidate to fill the post of vice-president.
The new vice-president will be named in the next board meeting of the Foundation.
