BPL Indigo plans to introduce a new radio satellite channel exclusively for women. To be called Indigo FEM, the radio channel will be broadcast by the Worldspace platform and is currently undergoing test runs.

BPL Indigo plans to introduce a new radio satellite channel exclusively for women. To be called Indigo FEM, the radio channel will be broadcast by the Worldspace platform and is currently undergoing test runs.
The BPL Indigo group already has a radio channel called Indigo FM running on the Worldspace platform and it is broadcast out of Singapore. Indigo FEM would be the second offering from the Indigo bouquet. The company had been awarded licenses to operate FM services in Cochin and Bangalore but had asked for a time extension in furnishing the required bank guarantees.
