Tribes Communication commemorated a defining milestone with the 11th Annual Edition of ROAR, its flagship annual conference, marking not just another year of growth, but also becoming a fully independent agency and beginning of a sharper, strategy-led growth phase.

ROAR 2026 represented a pivotal moment in Tribes’ evolution. It was a coming together of leadership and 250+ team members from across India to reflect on a decade of institution- building, acknowledge collective achievements, and align on a sharper, future-forward strategic roadmap.

Addressing the gathering, Gour Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, Tribes Communication, said, “Our transition to full independence is not just a milestone; it is a mandate for transformation. What we have built over the last decade has been powered by collective ambition, cross-functional collaboration, and an unshakeable belief in our people. As we step into this next phase, our focus sharpens on becoming a truly consulting-led, tech- enabled partner to our clients, where data, digital intelligence, and integrated thinking converge to solve real business challenges. We are proudly Indian in our insight, ingenious in our approach, and global in our standards. This next chapter is about transforming how we create value for our teams, for our partners, and for the brands we help build.”

The transition to full independence represents a structural and strategic inflection point. With enhanced decision-making autonomy and deeper operational control, Tribes is now positioned to accelerate its consulting-led approach, integrating strategy, creative, digital, and experiential capabilities into cohesive, outcome-driven solutions.

ROAR 2026 also celebrated excellence across the organisation, with top performers recognised for their outstanding contribution, leadership, and impact through a series of annual awards reinforcing Tribes’ culture of meritocracy and ownership. The two-day conference was further energised by an action-packed, high-impact sessions led by Sonal Dabral, Creative Consultant and Screenwriter, former Chief Creative Officer and Chairman at DDB Mudra and Colonel Shivender Pratap Singh Kanwar.

Sonal Dabral talked about creativity and advertising, underscoring the power of collaboration and the role of collective vision in shaping impactful storytelling and building meaningful brands. Complementing this perspective, Colonel Shivender Pratap Singh Kanwar spoke about the importance of teamwork, resilience, and team spirit, drawing parallels between the disciplined collaboration of Special Forces and high-performing corporate teams. Their thought-provoking addresses infused the room with renewed purpose, reinforcing the values of unity, leadership, and shared responsibility.

Set against a backdrop of music, engagement activities, and collaborative experiences, ROAR re-energised teams and strengthened bonds, ensuring Tribes enters its next phase aligned, motivated, and future-ready. ROAR 2026 reinforced that Tribes’ growth has been powered by collective ownership and collaborative execution. Its independent identity now strengthens its ability to deliver agile, insight-led, and business-aligned solutions in an increasingly complex communications environment.
