Trinamool Congress leader and Lok Sabha MP from Krishnanagar, Mahua Moitra, has been approached to participate in the upcoming season of Bigg Boss Bangla, according to an exclusive IWMBuzz report. The show will air on Star Jalsha.
If she comes on board, Moitra could be one of the most high-profile political faces to enter the Bengali edition of the popular reality format. Known for her outspoken personality and articulate presence in Parliament, the former investment banker has often made headlines both inside and outside the political arena.
IWMBuzz had earlier reported that Bigg Boss Bangla is set to return for its third season, with names like former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly and actor Prosenjit Chatterjee being considered to host the show. The portal cited a reliable source as saying, “Mahua Moitra has been approached to participate in the new season… Her multifaceted persona makes her one of the sought-after faces for the reality show.”
Star Jalsha has yet to confirm the development.
